Continuing Education Units: Learners can earn 2.0 CEUs per course for a total of 6.0 CEUs total for either Level 1 Certificate or 8.0 CEUs total for the Honors Certificate.
CORE COURSE
Discover AM in our Additive Manufacturing Essentials course. Students will learn the basic steps in each key AM process as defined by ASTM F42, review real-world applications of AM and categorize material types.
CORE COURSE
This course expands on AM Essentials, providing a more detailed review of the additive manuafturing processes, including how the layers are made, how energy is applied, and the compatible materials.
ELECTIVE COURSE
This is an advanced course focused on Design for Additive Manufacturing (DfAM). Learners will be able to distinguish between AM design innovation and AM design mitigation techniques.
ELECTIVE COURSE
This course focuses on forming a business case for additive manufacturing. Learners will be able to identify cost drivers, create opportunities for cost savings and develop core AM industrialization strategies.
